Winter

Ahh, it's this time of year once again. When the snow's supposedly falling on the streets creating a white path. And when the weather's really cold, that all you want to do is sit by the fireplace and drink a cup of hot chocolate. Winter is the laziest time of year, when bears and squirrels hibernate and when humans like us slack in work and sleep in without knowing. Winter is also the time when your hands become numb and stiff, and your nose becomes so stiff that you can't even breath. Ahh...Winter. I love this time of year. The expression "what a cold person" will apply literally in this season. Winter for me is the best season there is besides summer. And Winter to me is also my training season for badminton. I may not be on the time yet but I'll still train and play for fun. Badminton season for our school is starting in Febuary, so i must train and do my best with my new mixed doubles teammate. I just hope I don't mess up and cost us the tryouts.

Winter is also the time when people and families come together to celebrate Christmas, a beautiful holiday. Christmas is the time when about every family buys a christmas tree, a mistletoe, or some kind of wreath to show some kind of holiday spirit. Some people may be grouchy during this time of year, but others enjoy it to the fullest. Ahh...Winter and Christmas, you have once again come along.

Since it's the week before Christmas break, I got some people gifts and others I just don't know what to get. Christmas time may be the best time of the year, but this year isn't going to be so great. I'm being negative right now because I'll sad when Dina Quach moves and I won't be able to see her as much. But for now I'm spending time with her before the 19th. So I'll also add this message and hope she reads this sometime when I post it. Good Bye Dina... we might've had our ups and downs but we've overcomed it, maybe. And have fun at San Francisco! I'll go visit, maybe, sometime in the future. Teehee. :P

NathanTieu

I've decided to not spoil 11Eyes: Tsumi to Batsu to Aganai no Shojo and let you watch it yourself, if you're interested in it. So to make up for that, I'll be writing about Nathan Tieu today.

Nathan Tieu was born on January 9, 1994. His family consists of an older sister, an older brother, and, of course, his parents. Nathan HAD pets, but they only lasted for a couple of weeks. His pets were mostly goldfishes and miniature turtles. Nathan had three turtles but one passed away and the other two were saved by Petco. Tieu thinks that his older brother had a hamster, but unfortunately it ran away. Of all important diseases or illnesses, Nathan Tieu had never had the chicken pox. He's going to be in trouble when he gets it in the future.

Nathan Tieu went to Haight Elementary School, Will C. Wood Middle School, and Alameda High School. Nathan was an Eagle, Beaver, and now a Hornet. Nathan Tieu stayed in California for a long while, the only places that he has gone to is Oregon, New York, and Australia (to meet some koalas). Nathan's most recent vacation was to Australia, and he learned something new when he was there. He learned that Giraffe poo bounces. So Random!

I met Nathan, when i first moved to Alameda, throughout the entire Haight Elementary School years. Nathan Tieu was in all of my classes from third to fifth grade. It was creepy in the beginning, but we became friends. When we graduated from Elementary School, we went to the same Middle School too, but not like Elementary times. We didn't have classes together until eighth grade and barely talked to each other. We somehow got the same Wood Shop class. And so we started talking again. Oh and his locker was on top of mine during eighth grade. Creepy! Hmmm... and guess what, now I have one class with him, Sutherland's fifth period class.

11Eyes: Tsumi to Batsu to Aganai no Shojo

For this week's blog post, I'm going to introduce 11Eyes: Tsumi to Batsu to Aganai no Shojo, an anime that just recently came out. On April 25, 2008, something that has similarities to 11Eyes was created; it was a DVD for Windows apparently. The anime version of 11Eyes began showing on October 7, 2009. 11Eyes: Tsumi to Batsu to Aganai no Shojo directly translated means 11Eyes: Sin, Damnation, and the Atonement Girl. The studio which broadcast 11Eyes is Dogakobo, the network that is sponsoring it is Choba TV, and the director of the anime is Masami Shimoda.

The main character of 11Eyes: Tsumi to Batsu to Aganai no Shojo is Satsuki Kakeru had a sister seven years ago, but she passed away, and that's where the story begins. Satsuki Kakeru had a really bad past, but with the help of his childhood friend, Minase Yuka, got past all of that and Satsuki returned to his everyday life. But suddenly one day, the sky turned red and the moon darkened to a black color. Everybody slowly disappeared, except for Satsuki and Yuka and weird, mysterious creatures appeared in the place of the disappeared people. Satsuki and Yuki ran for their lives, without knowing what will happen next. They ran and ran, but eventually the sky turned blue again, and every creature disappeared. As though this may seem like a dream, the occurrence of the red sky and dark moon happened again.

Who did they meet? Along the way, they met four other humans. Kusakabe Misuzu, a red-haired swordswoman. Tachibana Kukuri, a really unique and strange mute girl who looks similar to Satsuki's deceased younger sister. Hirohara Yukiko, a really weird character who has a personality of a "cold" serial killer when her glasses are removed. And last Tajima Takahisa, who is a pyrokinesis who has a really "hot" attitude.

What will happen to them, watch the anime and you'll find out? Or you can wait until next week's post and I'll tell you what happened to them. :D

BigBangPartTwo

Okay, so continuing on last weeks post is the next three members of Big Bang.

Taeyang, or Dong Young Bae or SoL, is the second to youngest member of Big Bang. Taeyang's was born on May 18, 1988 which means that he's currently age 21. like G-dragon, Taeyang recently released solo-songs, so far two of his songs has a music video to it, Wedding Dress and Where U At. My favorite song so far is Wedding Dress which includes a sad melody to it, the song is about him falling in love with his brother's love. And at the end, he doesn't get her, he was just too slow in proposing to the girl. Taeyang personally is known for his free-style dancing. Oh yeah, and Taeyang is one of my favorite members in the group, Big Bang.

Daesung also known as Kang Daesung and D-Lite was born on April 26, 1989 which concludes that he's currently 20 years old. About a month ago, Daesung got into an accident, he was injured badly in the nose. The accident occurred on the Pyeongtaek Express highway. He was then hospitalized for a few weeks. During that time the company had to postpone Family Outing and also a musical he was in. Even though Daesung isn't the most handsome in the group but he is the funniest and will make your sad day, happy. In April 2007, Daesung quit high school to take full time training and focusing on his Big Bang work. But he's still studying well he has free time, he's determined to pass his college exam without school. Daesang, lawl.

And last is Seungri, Lee Seung-Hyeon or V.I. Victory, was born on December 12, 1990 and is currently 18. Seungri is the youngest member in the group, so they call him Maknae which means "young" or something like that. Before he was a member of Big Bang, he was a member of Ilhwa, a Gwangju dance team. Gwangju is the place where he was born. I don't really know much of Seungri because he doesn't show up as much as GD or TOP or Taeyang. So I can't really continue with Seungri, oh but I do listen to one of his songs titled "Strong Baby."

Well that's it for the group Big Bang, oh wait no it's not I want to add one more thing about Big Bang's former member So1. So1 also known as Jang Hyun Seung was known as the shy member, so he was pulled out of the group and into training, but he quit a little later and joined Cube Entertainment. And is now a part of the new group BEAST or B2ST. And that was the last last thing. Thanks for reading about Big Bang. Good Bye.

Recently I have been interested in a Korean group called Big Bang. I may not understand them but i can still enjoy the tempo and rhythm. Okay, so let's begin.

Big Bang is a Korean boyband consisting of five members; G-Dragon also known as Kwon Ji Yong and GD for japanese fans, T.O.P. also known as Choi Seung Hyun and Tempo, Taeyang also called Dong Young Bae and SoL, Daesung also known as Kang Daesung and D-Lite, and Seungri also known as Lee Seung-Hyeon and V.I. Victory. Even though Big Bang is known as a five member group, there was one more member but he got eliminated because of his shy appearance on the screen, he was known as SO-1.

G-Dragon was born on August 18, 1988 which means he's currently 21 years old. He recently released a solo album called HeartBreaker on his birthday in 2009, but that album has raised up questions of plagiarism. But besides of all the questions, along side of his singing career, he also composes his groups material such as the songs "Lies," "Last Farewell," and a few others. Even more recent news about his album, he has also working with a new female group named 2Ne1. Most say that his talent wasn't from training but since young.

T.O.P. was born on November 4, 1987 which means he's currently 22 years old. He hasn't set out a single album like GD but he will soon. T.O.P. is the main vocals, rapper, and also a composer of the group. His current material besides of group activities is that he's acting in a new movie called "IRIS." Even though he isn't one of the main characters, most of his fans are anticipating to see him in action, i heard that he's a serial killer in the movie so i don't know. Besides of his regular work, he has also guest starred in most singers music video.

I shall continue the other three members in next weeks post. :P

New Statement of Purpose

In my last statement of purpose, I included that i would write about my vacation during summer, badminton, and anime. So far i have completed part of my goal from the old statement. I have only written about badminton and anime (or something close to anime), i never started my post on my vacation. I don't know if i should finish my goal or leave it until the day i feel like writing about it.
All my previous posts I have written horror stories, advice of Fanime, my unfinished adventure at Fanime, Final Fantasy XIII, and badminton. Due to procrastination or interests in other subjects, i haven't stayed on one complete idea and just wrote about anything that popped into my head that day. Im pretty sure that one day this year, ill complete what i have started and make it complete.
I will now make a new goal to actually achieve besides of leaving it to the side or not completing it. My new goal for this statement of purpose is to improve in my writing, posts, and ill complete my old goal someday. Hehe. :P Oh and also one more goal, I will try not to procrastinate so much when im typing up a new blog. I'll try not to play with the ant crawling around or clicking around to another website online. Hmm... i might even start running around or playing games offline. Who knows i might even fail my goals that i have set myself. Teehee. But i will put in effort and try not to fail these goals. For most, maybe even all, of my goals this year, there is one keyword, and that is Try.

Badminton

Badminton, a two to four player racket sport, first originated from British India. The court is rectangular shaped that's separated at the middle by a net. When a singles court is produced, the doubles court is also produced on the same court by adding a few extra lines outside. When playing a singles game, the players have to ignore the doubles line; and when playing doubles, players must forget about the singles court unless otherwise serving. Badminton is pretty much the same as tennis but a few slight changes; the racket, the "ball", and the rules.

The basics to playing badminton are the following: having a suitable shuttlecock or birdie, racket(s), and some kind of scoring system. There are two kinds of shuttlecocks or birdies, feather and plastic. I prefer feather because I'm use to it, but for beginners i would recommend plastic. Feather shuttlecocks can be ruined if not taken care of or played by correctly. Beginners who aren't going to take badminton seriously shouldn't use feather because it'll be a waste of money. Feather shuttlecocks are bought at double the price than plastic ones. Intermediates and professionals should purchase Yonex or Aeroplane shuttlecocks because they last longer and flies more smoothly. There are other brands that fly even smoother in their opinion but Yonex and Aeroplane is my opinion.

Racket(s) are the most important part of badminton, because without them you can't play this sport at all; without shuttlecocks you cant play either, but i think racket(s) are more important. Badminton racket(s) come in a huge selection according to power, control, speed, and even strength. For power players, i would recommend Yonex MusclePower 100 because the energy transfer through the racket won't waste your energy and it also helps you with tension. This racket helps players who are learning how to smash or to clear cross the court. For players who want control, i recommend Yonex Armortec 30, which comes with a control support cap for a nice tight grip. Speed players should use Yonex ArcSaber Z Slash (Arc-Z for short), it's the new modified version of Yonex ArcSaber 10, it allows more speed in smash (up to 4% more than usual). Strength players should use NanoSpeed 9000 because it's made with a special carbon fiber layer to improve accuracy and high strength. Currently i'm using Yonex ArcSaber 7 because i don't really stick with a position, i'm more of an "all-around" player and i really like the yellow and white coloring on the racket. Teehee.

Badminton's scoring system is based on a 21 point system for each game. There are no special rules for this part of the subject but there is one you should remember, left is for odd numbers and right is for even numbers. Everyone who plays badminton for competition should get this and players who just play for fun should somewhat get it.

One final rule... try to have fun, competition or not. Oh wait i lied, that wasn't the last rule this is don't play outdoors.

Final Fantasy XIII

Final Fantasy first originated by Hironobu Sakaguchi and is developed by Square Enix, or Squaresoft. It all began in the year 1987, which was created to save Square Enix from bankruptcy. The series mainly focuses on science-fantasy; it is also known as animes, motion pictures, printed media, collectible figures, and also RPG's. RPG is also known as role playing games where you take the life of a character and become him/her. The collectible figures are based off of the animes and games. Final Fantasy is known as one of the best-selling franchises. Square Enix achieved from bankruptcy to one of the most successful gaming company throughout the world.

There are way too many seasons and chapters in the game and anime, so I'll only talk about one of them, Final Fantasy XIII. Final Fantasy XIII is the latest out of all the series. The main point of this series revolves around fal'Cie, which is formed in a crystal residing in the characters. Whoever is marked with the fal'Cie has to fulfill the goal that the fal'Cie wants them to succeed in a certain amount of time, however the people who are marked doesn't know what the goal is so its a very difficult task for them. What will happen to the marked character? You ask. Well if the character dies or unsuccessfully achieves the goal then they or their corpse becomes a "Cie Corpse." The fal'Cie is a really powerful substance.

The main character in this series is Lightning or also known as ライトニング (if you can read Japanese). Lightning has long strawberry-blonde hair and is 177 cm tall, which is approximately 5'10. No one knows her real name because after her parents died she changed her name into Lightning. According to my research, Tetsuya Nomura was asked to create a female version of Cloud Strife, who was from Final Fantasy VII. Lightning is described as not-so-ladylike; her weapon of choice is a combination of a gun and sword. During battle, she uses agility and acrobatic tactics.

Final Fantasy XIII is the anime and game that millions are waiting to watch and play.

Fanime Part Two

Number Five: Don't cancel your reservations and Fanime pass at the last minute. Even beginning to make reservations, you have to be dedicated. Dedicated to it 101%.
Now it's time for stories!
At 5:17 PM, the parent who was driving me arrived in San Jose. During the car ride, I had fallen asleep which was a disappointment, because I didn't get to see the scenery. When the car arrived at the hotel, we hopped out, grabbed our bags, and walked towards the front door of the hotel. Once we walked in, we were greeted by Sophie Zellick's father. He asked for our names and handed us the room pass. We then headed to the elevator, pressed the "3" button, and waited. There was a signup sheet on who we wanted to room with, but I didn't know anybody in the club who were girls, so i left it blank. I was then put into a room with people who I don't know.
I stuck the key pass into the door and opened the door. There stood two people, one who was a junior at AHS and the other who was in college at some place, majoring something. In the beginning, I barely talked to them, but then later on I became friends with them. Now we keep in touch.
I dropped my bags at the vacancy spot on the floor, and tried to get comfortable in the room since I would've been staying there for two nights and three days. I then grabbed my wallet and the key pass, and walked out the door with a wave of goodbye. I ran to the convention center hoping that there wouldn't be a long line to get the Fanime pass. When I finally got there, there was a huge line going out the door. But I had no choice but to stand there and wait.

Fanime Part One

Fanime, a social convention for both animation lovers and collectors. Fanime is created by anime clubs all over California, and is also the largest convention in Northern California. FanimeCon is held in San Jose every year during memorial weekend. Many wait an entire year for it to happen, but once that weekend is over they head back to their ordinary lives and wait for the next years'. During Fanime people of all ages dress up as an animation characters from either their favorite shows or movies. The people who created this also created a term for it, cosplay. Cosplay is short for costume playing.
Last year I went to Fanime, it was my first year at an actual convention. I was clueless on what'll happen, so I asked my brother (who went to the 2008 and 2009 one.) He didn't help me, all he said was "You'll see for yourself." In the beginning I didn't know anything, but now I'm well experienced enough to tell others about the wonderful times I had, and what they would do if they went. Last year, I went as Haruhi Suzumiya from the anime The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Even though I was unexperienced, I still tryed to be the best cosplayer. Here are some advice for any new cosplayers or new FanimeCon attendees.
Advice:
Number One: Register for Fanime ahead of time, atleast six months ahead.
Number Two: Upon registering for Fanime, also place a reservation for the hotel across the street, The Sainte Claire Hotel.
Number Three: Optional: Pick out a cosplay to wear. Just because you like an outfit, doesn't mean it'll look good on you. So pick wisely and carefully.
Number Four: When you've finished with all the registrations and so on. Now you must constantly check http://www.fanime.com for any new updates on the celebrity guests and new merchants who will be joining in the year you're participating.

When we claim to be free of prejudice, perhaps what we are really saying is that we are not hate-mongers.[10] But none of us is completely innocent. Prejudice is an integral part of our socialization,[11] and it is not our fault. Just as the preschoolers my student interviewed are not to blame for the negative messages they internalized, we are not at fault for the stereotypes, distortions, and omissions that shaped our thinking as we grew up.

Comments and Annotations:

This paragraph is really important to the whole article, because in the beginning they talked about how most people were exposed to stereotypes. In the third paragraph they talked about how they interviewed preschoolers. Preschoolers aren't aware of stereotypes and prejudice, their education isn't as advanced as highschoolers to know that we are shown to prejudice and racism. But other than their education, little kids are still aware of stereotypes and prejudice without them knowing.

Annotations: I underlined the following words, "negative and hateful images," because some people who are more prejudice than others are just wrong and mean. I also underlined the words, "not to be blame," because the preschoolers who are unaware of prejudice aren't at fault. Prejudice makes our world go round and unique, but sometimes its just a hateful thing.

The Melody Part 2

A mysterious voice was heard.

“Suicide Song, my dear,” a little voice whispered.

“Wh-who a-are y-you?” Sydney frightened.

“I am your mother, sweetheart.”

“B-but my m-mother d-died a y-year ago.”

“I’m her soul and ghost, I have come to explain to you why the people around you die. You’re the cause of all this.”

“M-my fault?”

“Why yes, dear.”

Sydney didn’t believe her, and hopped onto her bike. She rode to the other side of town. Sydney went up to an unknown man and asked him a question. “What is your name?” He stood in silence. “It was the Suicide Song!!!” She screamed it, and everybody heard her. Now they all heard the sweet melody. It was caused by her voice, when she speaks to someone. They hear that melody.

“Okay, okay come on out. Tell me why I’m cursed with this horror.”

Her mother appears in front of Sydney. “I’m the one who sang you that song, when you were a child.” You were supposed to die like your brothers and sisters, but you didn’t. Instead you enjoyed it.

“Only one thing can stop this madness!” Sydney said with a crazed look in her eye.

“Sorry darling, you can’t kill yourself until you find that one person who will not die from it.”

Sydney ran into the closest cutters store, ignored the bodies, and headed towards the knives. She grabbed the biggest one she could find, and cut herself, right in the throat. *Thud* Her head dropped to the floor. “Sydney, dear. You’re still alive, even if you did cut yourself in the neck. Your head will just live without a body.”

Mysteries in life should stay a mystery forever. Will the madness stop? Will everybody die from natural cause or die from the Suicide Song? *Eerie music in the background* *The music fades*

The Melody Part One

A smooth melody floated around, only a few people have heard of it. It was one of those things that should stay a mystery. No one knows how it caused the deaths; they just know the melody killed them.

*Piano melody* “What is that sound?” said Sydney.

Kyle just sat there like a mindless zombie. He was listening to it. It didn’t affect Sydney. But why didn’t it? Kyle, moaning to the melody, Sydney listened carefully, it sounded familiar, but where did she hear it. Sydney went outside to see if anybody else heard it. She knocked on her neighbor’s door. Knock*

“Do you hear that melody?”

“Melody? I don’t hear anything.”

Her neighbor’s face turned into a slight purple, his face turned zombie-like like Kyle’s. Sydney wondered. When she opened the door to her apartment, Kyle was laying there, dead. She got scared and headed out the door once again and her eyes set upon her neighbor’s dead carcass.

“Why did everybody I talk to hear that song and die? Why didn’t I? This seems like a horror story pulled out of it's chapter!” Sydney went crazy and ran downstairs and walked around, asking people. Everybody she asked was perfectly fine until she came and talked to him or her. They all heard the melody at an instant, when she came into their lives. All the civilians turned into mindless zombies, but will they follow the same death as the others. The ones that moaned all died of the same way, the others who headed towards huge items; either suicide or they just collapse. Sydney became scared and insane. All her sane went away. The more she talked, the more the melody can be heard. More and more people died. Mindless-zombies covered the streets, no blood or gore.

How will this procedure end for her and will she find the source of this mystery?

Crimson Fighter

“I hope we don’t get caught.”

“We won’t. Don’t worry.”

The group of burglars continued to chatter and count all the things they’ve stolen. *Clank* the sound of a tomato juice can fell from the ceiling.

“Wh-who’s there?” One of them got scared, but the tougher one just said, “It’s just some kids outside of the window, trying to scare us.”

“We’ll scare them away as soon as I finish counting this stack.”

He continued counting, as each of his buddies disappeared in a flash. One by one they were lifted into the air. The main burglar was the only one left, he grabbed a gun and started shouting, “Who’s there? Show yourself!” Andy, the vampire, showed himself to the boss. “It’s just a kid trying to scare us. Get out of here kid before I hurt you.” But Andy just stood there as Nate and Danny appeared next to him.

“Aren’t you a little old to be with these kids?” The main burglar asked Nate.

“Oh my goodness, I’m not that old,” Nate responded.

“So why don’t you take your kids and go home, before someone gets hurt.”

Andy and Nate’s eyes turned a bright yellow, with Danny following along.

“What are you guys? Ah!”

The vampires attacked him. Nate, who was the soft and gentle father of the three, always went easy on the victims. But since the burglar said he was old, he got mad. Oh yeah and if you asked why I putted three above. It’s because Nate lives with three other vampires, Andy and Danny which you have met and Freddy the oldest of Andy and Danny. Hmm… this reminds me, where was he when they were fighting the burglar. Well… it doesn’t really matter now. All of the vampires are immortal but two of them were once humans like you and me. They just went under the blood contract.

They didn’t become a vampire by getting bitten by one. Instead they became one because of a blood contract with a pure blood vampire. A pure blood vampire is a vampire who is born with the abilities of a vampire. What is a blood contract? It’s not like a normal contract with pens and paper, but with drinking and blood. A human just needs to drink the blood of a full-fledged vampire. And you can only do that if your life was on a life-risking situation. There will be a 50% chance that you can do that, so don’t get your hopes up.

Danny got to do the blood contract because of his carelessness. One day he was thinking about something that seemed unreasonable and walked into the streets careless enough to get hit by a car. By that time Danny knew Nate, he owned a bakery. And also Nate once saved Danny from a falling piano.

Now lets talk about how Andy got his vampire powers. Well it all started when he was about four years old.

Vroom, crash!

“The child is safe, but his parents are long gone. Now what are we going to do with him?” The paramedics conversed in front of Andy. A priest, weirdly enough, appeared out of nowhere and says, “I will take him to be my own.”

“Okay then, we’ll leave him in your hands.”

But the priest was a level M, the most dangerous level for a vampire. The priest wanted to feast on Andy. Andy was clueless since he was a four year old. He followed the priest to his church.

“Sit over there,” the priest demanded. Andy headed towards the seat near the mysterious fireplace. “I’ll be right back.” Andy obeyed and waited until the priest returned. “Drink this nice cup of orange juice, WHILE I FEAST ON YOUR NECK!” Andy was one of those stupid four year olds. So he sat still while the bloody canines pierced into his neck. Gulp. Nate the smartest and oldest vampire came to the rescue. He knew where they were and he also had Andy’s certificate and adoption papers.

“Andy belongs to me, now let him go,” Nate said.

“Here you can have him, he’s type B. I wanted type AB-.”

The priest pushes Andy to Nate and jumps right out of the roof.

“Just leave me here, I’ll die here,” Andy whispered.

“I’ll never leave you here, you belong to me! And here drink this.”

“Gulp. What is this, it has a metal kind of taste following it with sweetness.”

“It’s my blood.”

“Pshhh! Why’d you give me this,” Andy says it in a stronger tone.

“Don’t you feel better?”

“Yes, yeah!”

That’s how Danny and Andy became a vampire. Freddy on the other hand was born like that, his father was a sacred vampire and his mother well she was one of those shady characters. But a certain rumor says she was a mortal and his father killed her with a thirst for blood. Love doesn’t conquer all.

A pretty normal day passed with no missions or scary vampires around. But where did they even get all those missions. That’ll have to stay a mystery for now until we can reveal his true identity.

Andy was sleeping in his room, ringgg. “Hey, time to wake up,” Danny woke up first.

“Give me five more minutes mommy,” Andy sleeps talk.

“Who are you calling mommy?”

“Then who are you? Daddy?”

“You don’t belong to me!”

Andy’s eyes opened with fright. “Ah, who are you?”

“I’m Danny, your new roommate.”

“Oh, OH, you’re that one vampire I met the other day.” Andy forgot all about the adventure they took together. It was early in the morning, and Andy had to think hard about last night.

“Well, what are you waiting for, get dressed and go downstairs for breakfast.”

“Breakfast?” Andy rushed out of his bed, brushed his teeth, showered, and headed downstairs to greet Nate and his breakfast.

Gobble, gobble. “Dang, slow down, your breakfast isn’t going anywhere.” Said Danny.

Andy slowed down but by the time Danny told him to actually stop, Andy had finished his breakfast. All that was left was his tomato juice. One single gulp, his breakfast was complete.

“Maybe that was why it’s called breakfast,” Nate answered. “Now you two get ready for school.” Schoolboys by day, and crime fighters by night.

Andy and Danny grabbed their backpacks, located near the door, and headed out into the bright clear world. They walked down the streets, passed the warehouse, and walked towards the school gate. But they carelessly hit a young girl around their age. Bump. “I’m so sorry, are you hurt?” Danny asked.

“Oh, I’m okay,” answered back the girl, while rubbing her head.

“Here let me help you pick up your books. Andy will help too.”

“Who’s Andy? Oh by the way, I’m May.”

“I’m Danny, and he’s Andy.”

For the first time May looked up and saw Danny and Andy. There was a bright gleam in her eyes. “Danny,” she whispered.

“Here are your books, with no help from Andy,” Danny gave Andy a glare.

Before she knew it, she had fallen in love with Danny. This was called love at first sight.

“So what school do you go to?” Danny asked May.

“I go to Red Creak High.”

“Oh us too, we’re heading over there right now.”

Ringggg…

“Ah, we’re late!”

All three rushed over to the school, the second bell rang, and they were all late.

“So what class are you in?” Danny questioned.

“I’m in class 5301,” May whisper so they wouldn’t get caught.

“We’re in class 5300.”

Squeak. The door opened just enough for them to squeeze in and without the teacher seeing them. They crawled to their seats and just before the attendance was taken they were settled in just like the other students.

“I wonder if May got caught,” Andy mumbled.

“Why do you even care about her?” Danny replied. “You didn’t care before, you didn’t even pick up her books.”

“Okay, okay I get it. I changed my mind okay, she seems like a pretty nice girl.”

“Shh… Andy, Danny, you two were late and yet you disturb your classmates from constant chattering,” their teacher yelled.

“Aw man, he noticed,” Andy mumbled in the tiniest voice he could so the teacher wouldn’t notice again.

A few note taking, problem solving, and listening. “Class is now over.” Ringg.

Sighh “It’s finally over, yawn,” Andy said.

“Pack your things Andy, we’re leaving,” Danny answered.

Everything was in their backpacks and they headed out. On the way through the door, May was in the corner of their eyes.

“Why did it take you guys so long?”

“Andy was being his lazy self.”

“Umm…this is kind of sudden, but can I come to your house Danny?”

“Hey what about me, why can’t you ask me?” Andy became frustrated.

“Because I want to go to Danny’s house,” May replied with a grin.

“But… but…” Andy nervously said.

“Forget it you two, if you really want to come to our house then follow us,” Danny trying to save the day.

May tagged along, “So do you two live near each other?”

“NEAR EACH OTHER?” Andy replied. “Weren’t you listening? Danny said our not mine or yours, our.”

“Our?”

“Yes, our, as in Danny and me. Do you understand?”

“No?” May had a confused look on her face.

“Let me spell it out for you, I live with Danny, Danny lives with me. Understand now?”

“WHAT, YOU TWO LIVE TOGETHER? YOUR BROTHERS?”

“When did I ever say we were brothers, I just said we lived together.”

“So your like roommates?”

“Nope, we’re brothers, we’re just adopted.”

“So you’re both adopted and randomly became brothers?”

“Yup, pretty much.”

“Okay, we’re here you two,” Danny once again interrupting their conversation.

May looked up, “Isn’t this just an old abandoned mansion?”

“Did she just call our home, an abandoned mansion?” Andy frustrated.

“But isn’t it? Well wasn’t it an abandoned mansion before you came and lived here?”

“Hmm… I don’t really know, I was adopted remember.”

“Oh, then who adopted you?”

“Oh, our loving father, Nate. Our adopted father, of course.”

“Is he home? Can I meet him?”

“He’s normally home after school, he always has snacks for us when we get home.”

“I’m so excited.”

They entered the mansion, dropped their backpacks, and walked into the dining room.

“The inside is better than the outside,” May say.

“Don’t ever judge a book by its cover,” Andy trying to act smart in front of May.

Andy, Danny, and May sat down at the dining table. Nate entered, greeted Andy and Danny, and asked, “Oh, who is this?” to May.

“Hi, my name’s May.”

“Hello, and welcome to our home, May,” Nate gave May a slight grin.

Nate walked to the kitchen and grabbed the plate of sushi, which he made earlier, and brought it to the table.

“Here eat this.”

May had the sparkle in her eye once again, but it wasn’t at Nate but at the plate of food. Rumble. “Go ahead and eat, I’ll make more later,” Nate gave a grin once more.

“I’ll dig in then,” May head towards the roll.

May was about to grab the one with the shrimp, but Andy grabbed it first and stuck it in his mouth. “Hmm… my favorite.”

May puffed up her face and headed towards another one. Once again Andy grabbed the one she wanted.

“Do you want to fight me for the next one?” May shouted.

“Here May, I made another plate during all that commotion just in case if one wanted to fight another,” Nate is so kind.

Narrator Notes:

One plate of sushi could make our vampires get into a fight. I wonder what would happen if someone got into a real fight with Andy, Danny or Nate. Hmm… that reminds me what happen to Freddy in all this drama.

*Changes the screen to view what Freddy was really doing. * Zzzzzzzzz, snore.

What? He was sleeping the whole time? Why is he even in this story?

Everything stays a mystery until next time, if there is a next time that is.

Statement of Purpose

The topics I have chosen, I know alot about it. I plan on writing about my vacations away from home, badminton, or animation films. These topics interests me and I hope would do the same for others.
My vacations are very different compared to people who have traveled to Europe or the United States. I would use it to remember my own memories and for others to get interested into it. I want to see people experience new cultures.
My second choice will be written about badminton. I want others to read about it because badminton is completely different from any other sport. Badminton from the outside may look like tennis, but on the inside the techniques are different.
Anime, my other choice, is well known in Asia. Many people in America never heard of it. Anime may be like cartoons, but to me it's way beyond our everyday cartoons. The purpose is for entertainment or if he/she are animation fanatics.
A topic will be chosen for my blog soon. All I need now is to decide which one is best for others interest and which one would draw their attention. All three topics has a purpose but which one is exactly the right/best one?
